Ceramic super intalox saddle is improved based on the intalox saddle, having the characteristics of low pressure drop and high mass transfer efficient, the most frequently used high-performance packing which exhibit advantages for most applications in comparison with other packing of different shapes. Ceramic super intalox saddles are widely used in sulfuric acid drying tower and other tower equipment.
The unique engineered shape prevents channeling, permits faster loading, and reduces settling, which provides for consistent performance over time.  This shaped media also maintains high heat exchange efficiency for a more economical cost overall when all factors are considered. 

Ceramic Intalox Saddle with excellent acid resistance and heat resistance. They can resist to corrosion of various inorganic acids, organic acids and organic solvents except hydrofluoric-acid, and can be used in high or low temperature conditions. Consequently their application ranges are very wide. Ceramic Intalox Saddle can be used in the drying columns, absorbing columns, cooling towers, scrubbing towers in chemical industry, metallurgy industry, coal gas industry, oxygen producing industry, etc. Ceramic Saddles are used in two main fields but have different properties depending on the application. One field is the chemical and petrochemical industries and another is in environmental areas such as RTO equipment.

Application:

1) These saddles are made from chemical porcelain and have excellent resistance to acids except in the case of hydrofluoric- acid.
2) Moisture absorption must less than half a percent.
3) The porcelain's specific gravity is 2.3-2.4g/cm3 and an average heat capacity (between 20°C and 500°C of 0.22 cal/g.°C)
4) Ceramic saddles softening point is 1400°C min. And they show good thermal shock resistance during repeated cycling between 20°C and 820 °C
